Not only did we experience changes within the photo booth industry, we saw significant progression in technology, changes in consumer behaviour, and development of pop-culture trends. These factors influence the way we think about business, and serious consideration toward them will aid in maintaining sustainability. Husband and wife team, Dan & Janelle are looking forward to sharing how they started out with literally zero photo booth knowledge only two years ago, and how they’ve grown Wooshka Photobooths into a 20 staff, 11 booth and 600+ bookings per year company.
They will be talking about the hard work and hustle that got them those bookings, the systems they use to manage their workload and their clients expectations. As well how they’ve used their personal values to give their brand a very well respected and well received reputation.

Master Class 1 – Instagram Marketing (Annabelle Davidson)

You run a photo booth business and you probably do everything from securing bookings to balancing the books and working the events. How the hell do you have time to keep up with maintaining a presence on social media too? This Masterclass will provide you with easy, actionable tips to grow your Instagram account and engage with consumers who will turn into inbound enquiries, sales and ongoing customers! Stop putting social media in the too hard basket for your business and walk away with resources that you can start implementing today.

Master Class 2 – Sales Superhero (Ryan Salinas)

I’ll show users how to create their own email sequences of follow up and how to create urgency to encourage customers to book, and quickly.
I’ll also cover areas on how to resurrect a lapsed customer, someone that has expressed
interest but hasn’t yet booked.
I’ll cover the art of the Flash Sale, another retention tactic. This is a *huge* advantage for people who may not have strong sales skills, this can be taught and implemented!
I’ll share formulas of how many clients and inquiries you need to make your revenue goals, or be able to
predict the success of a promotion, flash sale, or email blast.
I’ll share a list of resources and links needed to achieve conversion.
Lastly, I’ll include a step by step worksheet of email sequences that attendees can implement
into their sales process.
Main takeaways for the take are:
A) Targeted followup emails after the client has requested information.
B) Implementation of text message marketing to the customer
C) Crafting a strategic flash sale to drive business even in a slow period

Master Class 3 – DSLR Photography For Boothers 101 (Michael Gara)

I really want everyone to have a firm understanding of the how and why behind different lights, and light modifiers (softbox/beauty dish/umbrellas) and how to choose the right one for the right occasion! I’ll also be running people through best practice for the cameras we’re all using! I’m going to bring several different cameras/flashes/modifiers to give attendees some hands on experience with some of the many options out on the market!
